Life is painful and when you wrap a story around your pain and identify yourself as that story—you suffer and you suffer needlessly. When you stop telling your story for a moment, you have an opportunity to discover the happiness of your true nature. This is Self-inquiry, it is letting go of what you 'think' you know so that you can open to inquire. This is the essence of the support Kosi is offering you.

What is Self-inquiry?

Self-inquiry is falling in love so deeply with questions that you directly discover the indescribably vast wisdom of The Heart. It is the deepest most ruthless truth telling—What do you really want? And really, honestly, what do you want? What is your life really about? How are you spending your precious breath? Instead of assuming you know who you are—inquiry is opening to discover directly: Who are you Really?

Through direct experience, Kosi recognizes that sound has the natural power to pierce through the physical sensations, thoughts, and emotional states of your body. It is a powerful tool for Self-Inquiry or the direct discovery of the unmoving presence—the Peace, Freedom, and Happiness of your inherent nature. As is stated so clearly in the ancient Vedic scriptures, "By sound vibration one becomes liberated." (Vedanta-sutra 4.22). Sound represents the deepest support for a natural inquiry into the depth of yourself—the vast Love in the core of your being.

Sound is the primal language. In the womb we all experienced the vibration of sound. This vibration is our very first language and is the primary reason why we all love music. Music resonates with our essence; the infinite vibration at the core of our being—the Universal Language—The language of God—The Heart. Historically, Vedic literature references the use of sound as a spiritual tool. These ancient Sanskrit scriptures assert that the entire cosmic creation began with sound; "By His utterance came the universe." (Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 1.2.4). The Vedanta-sutras intimate that the ultimate liberation from suffering comes from sound as well as silence, devotion, and knowledge.
